The first luxury brand I was introduced to, it has a special place in my heart, but they also never fail to amaze me. Gucci is one of the brands that, without fail, I see myself wearing almost every look, just as it is. A lot of the time I like deconstructing an outfit, pick and choose the pieces I like and run with it, but not Gucci. They nail my style and, in some way, my personality, and I love it.
I have an unhealthy obsession with deep v tops, you’ll eventually notice, and this one is no exception. The lace is so delicate, pairing it with a black bra would send it over the top, did I mention I love red?
The black ribbon below the bust is a nice detail that separates the skirt and also creates a transition for it.
The rise of the skirt, the subtle fit of the waistband and the slit, prevent the length of the skirt to shorten the legs. Pair it with pointed flats, mixing metals to tie in the red and yellow, and it's a timeless piece.
Let’s not forget about the accessories. It’s easy to think red is the statement but it's, our best friend, black. It’s noticeable and it creates contrast while blending in, accentuating the rest of the look.
Black is the MVP of this outfit and rightfully so.
I don’t even know where to begin. This look just blows my mind, and I never thought I would like a dress like this. Can you believe black and lime-green are living in harmony?
What keeps this dress from looking like an old drape are the sleeve and neck details. The cuffs, with light green buttons, create a nice fitting end to the sleeve. It flows into the gloves and it keeps the slender shape of the cuff. This is followed by the shoulder detail, that mimics the scrunched up sleeve that is sewn into the scuff.
The mock neck, which would be replaced by a softer material, keeps the dress elongated and slim while also adding contrast. The dress has vertical and horizontal seams that meet at the waist. The horizontal seam cinches the waist and the vertical seam leads into the slit, it’s subtle but it’s there, and it works.
The slit in the middle keeps it safe but also adds playfulness. This reflects the angular sunglasses that also double as the chunky and soft, rounded necklace.
A look I’d love to start the new year with.
As much as I love a loud & playful look, a neutral and gentle color palette brings comfort and stability, no matter the design. This is something Lily Collins would wear, at least I think she would, that’s reason enough for this look to make it to the list. I wasn’t going to rate them, but this one comes in second.
What intrigues me the most is how the light oak blends in with the blush pink. The pink is so cool, yet with the warm oak, it blends in seamlessly. It’s dreamy, and I want it.
The silver gems add a beautiful depth to the garment, you can’t see the details from a distance, but you can see there’s texture, and that makes this outfit interesting.
The black accessories create contrast, it’s so obvious you ignore it, and your attention goes straight to the delicate fabrics.
Soft and elegant with a splash of edge.
Honestly…where do I even begin?
This look is pure perfection.
The accessories restrain the flowy, light and sheer fabric, while the white loafers give it room to breathe and move freely.
It’s subtle, but the lace top and mini skirt create a barrier while the flow of the sheer fabric adds a sense of intimacy. It invites you in not only by the transparency of it but by slit on the midi skirt.
The combination of both sexy and classy live in this look
and the black keeps it grounded and bold.
It’s the perfect outfit giving you the confidence to wear a flirty and sexy outfit while providing a sense of comfort.
Shout out to the pockets, how can you not love them?!
