Marcela Zedano  is a photographer and filmmaker working out of New York City and Lima, Peru. Influenced by writings that depict mundane moments in people’s lives, Zedano leaves behind the unnecessary to create their own vocabulary to push the limits of finding value in the everyday. Through images and short films, Zedano creates a compelling dialogue about the richness of routine, and challenges their audience to find and engage with their own ordinary moments of daily life.

Their work has been exhibited at Paradice Palase, Latino Film Festival, Work in Progress NYC, SPE Media Festival, SITE Santa Fe, and The Marion Center for Photographic Arts.
