about
Marcela Zedano is a photographer and filmmaker based in New York. Their work focuses on domestic life and the quiet introspection that seeps into daily routines. Influenced by writings that depict mundane moments in people's lives, they seek to find value in everyday routines and capture the moments within the walls, where they sometimes feel trapped. Through images and short films, Zedano creates a compelling dialogue about the richness of the everyday, and challenges their audience to find and engage with their own ordinary moments of daily life.
Their work has been exhibited at Paradice Palase, SPE Media Festival, SITE Santa Fe, and The Marion Center for Photographic Arts.
